As a member of Minnesota Join Together (an organization with a $850,000.00 grant from the Robert Wood Foundation with the purpose of reducing alcohol to teens), Priscilla led a committee to write the legislation for a social host bill which allows for civil liability against adults who serve alcohol to minors. Faris & Faris Trial Lawyers Have made a Difference
Silicone Breast Implants Devices
Faris & Faris has had the privilege to successfully represent plaintiffs in a variety of cases. Since 1993, the firm has represented over 350 silicone breast implant claimants and we have been able to recover anywhere from $10,000 to $150,000 for individuals who were able to prove that they had been injured by the implants by documenting through their medical records ruptured implants and autoimmune diseases. The product has been proven to rupture within five to seven years of surgery which can mean a need for several explant/implant surgeries in a lifetime.
Automobile Accident Crash Victims
We have also represented hundreds of people who have been injured as a result of a car crash, a slip and fall, an animal bite or medical malpractice. When a family came to us after losing loved ones in a car-truck crash, the insurance adjuster was trying to quickly settle the case for a minimal amount of compensation. Once Faris & Faris became involved our clients were compensated approximately seven times what was originally offered by the insurance company. |
