Levaquin is a fluoroquinolone class antibiotic, which also includes the drugs Cipro, Tenquin, and Avelox. Of these class of drugs, Levaquin has had the most lawsuits filed alleging injury.
Levaquin may be prescribed as a liquid, tablet, or injection. It is manufactured by Ortho-McNeill, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary.
